I pulled this from Worshipful Brother Brent Kaleta's page. This is something many of us should reflect upon.

I'd like to add that a great number of brethren made many unknown sacrifices to be able to raise each of us to where we are, please consider this the next time any brother asks you if you can take on a lecture, cook a meal, give another brother a ride.

No Lodge can continue to live and succeed relying on the same 5 to 8 brothers to do everything.
